Hello everyone,

This is a short thanksgiving to God for the prophecy given through a sister about singing praises to God even when we are down or depressed. It came after I read an article shared by another sister some time ago about using praise to silence the devil. Praise can be a powerful weapon against depression, and when we sing praises to God in times of depression, the evil one flees and cannot take hold of us.

This came after I found myself often attacked by worry and anxiety. It was like God was telling me I can use praise as a weapon against it. Below are the prophecy and an extract of the article.

Thanks be to God for His great love for us all!

Prophecy:

"My people, trust in Me. If you can sing praises to Me now, why not sing praises to Me even in those moments when you are feeling burdened and troubled? It is when you are able to praise Me in those moments and acknowledge that I AM GOD, that My power can work in you to lift you up."

This is one of the most important facts for practical Christian living. Every believer needs to learn how to make the Devil shut up. Praise is the way to silence him. Praise will stop the oppression of his evil thoughts. Praise will bring the weapons of God to bear against the attack of the Evil One.

Psalms 8:1-2 declares: O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
